Job Description
We’re looking for a tech-savvy, sharp
and curious individual to own and innovate our technology landscape. This isn’t
a traditional helpdesk role — you will manage our systems, support hardware and
software, and lead AI adoption across teams in the organisation.
Beyond maintaining smooth operations,
you will explore, test, and implement cutting-edge AI tools to improve
efficiency and collaboration. As a strategic leader, you will ensure AI
solutions are ethical, practical, and aligned with our goals, identifying
automation opportunities and driving responsible innovation.
If you love tinkering with new tech, have strong organisational skills, and enjoy a role that values curiosity, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact and shape the future of our organization.
AI Enablement
You will champion the integration and
effective use of AI tools across the organization, ensuring that AI-driven
solutions are practical, ethical, and aligned with business needs.
- Ownership & Management: Serve as the internal
owner and administrator of AI tool subscriptions, including platforms like
Claude, ensuring optimal usage, licensing, and updates.
- Workflow Analysis & Opportunity Identification:
Collaborate with various teams to understand their workflows, identify areas
where AI tools can save time, enhance quality, or automate processes, and
recommend suitable AI solutions.
- Development & Deployment of AI Solutions: Design,
build, and implement practical AI applications such as prompt templates,
automated workflows, and Claude-assisted processes that are user-friendly and
deliver tangible value.
- Data Management & Support: Assist the data team
with data collection, cleaning, and preparation essential for training and
validating AI models. Support automation efforts using tools like N8N and other
workflow-related tasks.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Educate staff across
all departments on how to leverage AI tools effectively, moving beyond
superficial usage to real value extraction. Document AI use cases, workflows,
and internal guides to ensure knowledge retention and accessibility.
- Research & Innovation: Stay current on emerging AI
tools, platforms, frameworks, and best practices. Evaluate new developments and
recommend innovative AI solutions to management.
- AI System Optimization: Monitor AI models and systems
continuously, making improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and
relevance.
- Ethics & Compliance: Ensure all AI applications adhere to ethical standards, privacy policies, and legal regulations, promoting responsible AI use.
Leading IT Systems
You will oversee the organization’s
technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, security, and support
across all platforms and systems.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the deployment,
maintenance, and upgrade of hardware, networks, servers, and other IT
infrastructure components to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
- System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide
technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, assisting users
to resolve problems swiftly and minimize downtime.
- Cybersecurity & Data Privacy: Implement and
monitor security protocols, safeguard data privacy, and ensure compliance with
relevant regulations to protect organizational assets.
- Software Deployment & Integration: Install,
configure, and maintain enterprise software solutions, ensuring smooth
integration with existing systems and workflows.
- User Account Management: Set up, modify, and offboard
user accounts across multiple platforms including Google Workspace (Gmail,
Drive, Meet, Calendar), Slack, ClickUp, and others. Manage permissions, groups,
and workspace settings to ensure secure and efficient access.
- Device & Physical Security: Manage office hardware
setup, CCTV systems, and biometric/fingerprint access controls, coordinating
maintenance and updates as needed.
- Support & Training: Conduct user training sessions
on IT systems, and produce documentation for IT procedures, system usage, and
troubleshooting guides.
- Vendor & Subscription Management: Coordinate with
IT vendors for procurement, licensing, and maintenance agreements. Audit
existing tools and subscriptions, identify overlaps, and recommend
consolidations for efficiency.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Develop, enforce,
and review IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure best practices and
security compliance.
- Additional Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day office IT support, manage connectivity, and ensure all systems operate smoothly to support organizational productivity.
