Position Overview

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is currently hiring an experienced and reliable HVAC Technician / Air Conditioning Mechanic for a fast-paced facility environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stable environmental and climate control operations while ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and dehumidification systems
• Monitor and maintain climate control systems to ensure proper temperature and humidity levels
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installations
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Ensure all work complies with workplace safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with operations teams to support overall facility performance

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HVAC Technician or Air Conditioning Mechanic
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, and climate control operations
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively
• Comfortable using tools, technical equipment, and diagnostic systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Physically capable of handling equipment and working in an operational facility environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Required Certifications / Experience

• Relevant HVAC certification, trade qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems is considered an asset
• Experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems preferred
