1. POSITION PURPOSE

The Sales Host/Hostess is responsible for promoting and selling the Company’s products and services directly to customers, ensuring accurate processing of bookings and providing excellent customer service.

The role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach to support revenue generation, enhance customer experience, and ensure smooth execution of sales transactions.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Engagement & Sales 
• Welcome and engage with guests in a professional and approachable manner. 
• Actively promote and sell products, services, or packages to visitors. 
• Provide accurate information regarding offerings, pricing, and promotions. 
• Identify sales opportunities and upsell where appropriate.

Customer Experience 
• Ensure a positive and memorable experience for guests through effective communication. 
• Assist guests with inquiries and guide them through available options. 
• Handle guest concerns or objections professionally and escalate where necessary.

Sales Operations
• Support sales processes including order taking, booking, or service coordination. 
• Assist in achieving individual and team sales targets where applicable. 
• Maintain awareness of daily promotions, packages, and operational offerings.

Coordination & Support 
• Liaise with operations, reservations, and service teams to ensure smooth execution of sales. 
• Communicate guest requirements and service details accurately. 
• Support front office or reception functions where required.

Display & Presentation 
• Ensure sales areas, counters, or displays are clean, organised, and presentable. 
• Maintain professional grooming and presentation at all times.

Cash Handling (where applicable) 
• Assist in handling payments, billing, or transaction processes when required. 
• Ensure accuracy and accountability in all transactions handled.
