Job Description

Role Purpose:
To provide technical support and assistance to employees by maintaining computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure efficient and uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to users for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain and monitor IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Support the setup of meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, and office IT equipment.
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and IT procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and data protection procedures.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and applications.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk operations.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with printers, routers, switches, and basic server administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
