About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our R&D team and drive the evolution of our cloud-native platform, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps-based delivery model.

You will work at the intersection of DevOps, platform engineering, and backend systems, enabling development teams to build, deploy, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient services.

This role is hands-on and requires strong expertise in modern cloud-native architectures, automation, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Drive GitOps practices using Argo CD**
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based platforms (deployment, scaling, observability, security)
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services**
• Collaborate with development teams (Java/Spring Boot) to improve build, deployment, and runtime efficiency
• Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices (SAST, dependency scanning, container security)
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Contribute to architecture decisions and platform standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering 
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI/CD)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS or similar)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform is a plus)
• Solid understanding of GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS
• Good knowledge of Java (Spring Boot) applications and build pipelines
• Experience with Docker / containerization
• Understanding of networking, security, and observability in distributed systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenShift
• Experience in telecom / eSIM / IoT platforms
• Exposure to high-security environments (HSM, PKI, cryptography)
• Experience with ArgoCD + Helm / Kustomize
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, etc.)

Certifications (Appreciated)

• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) from Amazon Web Services
• Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD) under Cloud Native Computing Foundation
