Role Overview

We are looking for a Medior Microsoft 365 Engineer with a strong technical focus on the Power Platform to strengthen our internal IT team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that improve business processes across the organization.

You will also play an active role in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities, supporting tenant integrations, migrations, and data consolidation efforts within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions within Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI)

• Build and optimize business-critical applications and automation flows

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive

• Develop and maintain secure and scalable data models in Dataverse and SharePoint

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues in existing solutions

M&A / Migration Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations during M&A projects

• Execute and monitor migrations using tools such as ShareGate

• Assist in data consolidation, governance alignment, and post-migration validation

• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure smooth integrations

Backup & Governance

• Manage and monitor backup solutions using CloudAlly (or similar SaaS backup platforms)

• Ensure backup integrity, perform restore operations, and validate recovery processes

• Contribute to governance, ALM, and lifecycle management practices

• Support implementation of best practices for security, performance, and maintainability

Technical & Automation Work

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell

• Work with PnP PowerShell for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 management and automation

• Work with APIs, custom connectors, and external systems where required

• Collaborate with IT operations and infrastructure teams for deployments and integrations

• Participate in continuous improvement of the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform landscape

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid experience (2–5 years) in Microsoft 365 administration or development

• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas apps required, Model driven apps preferred)

• Advanced knowledge of Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, integrations, error handling) • Experience with SharePoint Online as a data source

• Good understanding of Dataverse and relational data modeling

• Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations or strong interest in M&A projects

• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs or connectors

• Basic understanding of Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Logic Apps is a plus)

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with migration tooling such as ShareGate

• Familiarity with backup solutions like CloudAlly or similar

• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell and PnP PowerShell

• Experience with ALM processes for Power Platform (solutions, pipelines, environments)

• Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE toolkit)

• Microsoft certifications (Power Platform Developer Associate or similar)

• Experience with Power BI reporting and data modeling

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently in a structured in-house IT environment

• Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proactive mindset and ownership of solutions

• Team player with a hands-on mentality
