Learning and Talent Development Coordinator
Role
Overview
The
Learning and Talent Development Coordinator plays a key delivery role within
ABC Academy, supporting the design and coordination of learning and talent
programmes across ABC Group. Working closely with the Assistant Manager, the
Coordinator contributes to a broad range of people development activities - from programme delivery and talent support to project coordination and
stakeholder engagement. The role offers meaningful exposure to organisational
development work and requires someone who is hands-on, organised, and able to
engage credibly across different business contexts within the Group.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities
Programme Delivery
& Learning Coordination
Support the design, coordination, and
delivery of learning programmes across ABC Group by conducting training needs
analyses, evaluating learning effectiveness, leveraging learning technologies
including AI-enabled tools, and maintaining accurate training records and
reporting documentation.
Talent Support &
People Development
Support talent management initiatives across
ABC Group by contributing to talent identification frameworks, psychometric
assessments, succession planning, skills mapping, leadership pipeline
development, and the coordination of coaching and mentoring programmes.
Project Coordination
& Bespoke Interventions
Support the planning,
coordination, and delivery of people development projects and organisational
interventions across ABC Group, while managing project documentation,
monitoring progress, and contributing to strategic Academy initiatives and
tailored development solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Academy
Representation
Support stakeholder engagement and advisory
activities across ABC Group by contributing to learning and people development
solutions, building strong working relationships, supporting vendor management,
and representing ABC Academy as a trusted and professional development partner.
Organisational Development & People Strategy Support
Support people strategy and organisational development initiatives across ABC Group by contributing to workforce capability planning, competency frameworks, data analysis, change management initiatives, and the preparation of evidence-based reports and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Profile &
Requirements
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum requirement)
· Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage
Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, HR, or a related field
· Demonstrated experience in programme design, delivery, and project coordination, ideally across multiple functions or business units
· Experience working in or with a multi-sector or group company environment is an advantage
Key Competencies
· Strong analytical and diagnostic thinking, with the ability to distinguish root causes from symptoms
· Sound understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and talent management methodology
· Ability to engage credibly with stakeholders at multiple levels, from operational staff to senior leadership
· Clear and confident written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce polished professional documents
· Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver to deadline
· High degree of initiative, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous professional development
