Main Duties:

UI/UX Design

·        Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for websites, landing pages;

·        Conduct user research and usability testing to improve user experience;

·        Ensure consistency in design systems, branding, and visual identity ;

·        Optimize user journeys to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

 

Web Development

·        Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and landing pages;

·        Translate UI/UX designs into functional, high-performance code;

·        Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness;

·        Manage CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar);

·        Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

 

SEO & Performance Optimization

·        Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, structured content, internal linking);

·        Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and technical performance;

·        Conduct keyword integration in collaboration with marketing teams;

·        Monitor and improve rankings using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console;

·        Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (broken links, redirects, duplicate content);

·        Strong visual design sense (layout, typography, color, spacing);

·        Ability to create clean, modern, and professional interfaces;

·        Experience designing for both desktop and mobile environments.

 

Qualifications:

·        Degree or diploma in Web Development, UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field;

·        4 - 5  years of experience as a Web Developer, UI/UX Designer, SEO Specialist, or similar digital role;

·        Programming Languages: HTML, CSS & JavaScript;

·        Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms ;

·        Fluent in English/French (writing and speaking);

·        General knowledge of the Mauritius financial services sector/Global Business segment would be an advantage;

·        Strong attention to detail, creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills;

·        Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;

·        Enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic.
