Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Operations Assistant processes new businesses, renewal, endorsement as per instructions received from broking staff to ensure that monthly targets are met according to deadline set.

He/ She also conducts quality check on documents received from the Insurers and process the invoice accordingly.


Main duties

Customer Service

  • Issuance of placing slips to send to insurers
  • Build trust with departments and insurers through open communication.
  • Make proper follow-ups of client’s files.

Administration

  • Update and process new and existing insurance policies accurately and on time
  • Review, verify, and maintain detailed records and data across systems.
  • Prepare and manage documents, invoices, and communication with insurers.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, policy verification, and delivery of documents to clients.

Qualifications

  • At least a Higher School Certificate

Experience

  • 1 - 2 years’ hands-on experience in a similar position
  • Experience in insurance preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance management systems
