Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Human Capital Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR operations, maintaining positive employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labour regulations within a unionized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Assist
the Assistant Human Capital Manager in the day-to-day management of HR
operations.
•Support
the implementation and communication of Human Capital policies, procedures, and
initiatives.
•Manage
employee relations matters and provide guidance to the management team,
supervisors and employees on HR policies and procedures.
•Handle
disciplinary processes, including investigations, preparation of documentation,
and participation in disciplinary hearings.
•Liaise
with union representatives when required and support management in maintaining
constructive industrial relations.
•Monitor
employee attendance, leave management, and compliance with company rules and
regulations.
•Assist
in recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new employees.
•Coordinate
training and development activities to support employee performance and
operational needs.
•Provide
guidance and training to supervisors on discipline, company policies, and
people management practices.
•Support
employee engagement and welfare initiatives across the organization.
•Prepare
HR reports and support management with workforce planning and operational HR
matters.
•Assist
in the implementation of Human Capital projects and initiatives aimed at
improving organizational efficiency and employee engagement.
•Support
the planning, coordination, and monitoring of HR projects, including
organizational improvements, policy reviews, and process enhancements.
•Participate
in cross-functional projects with other departments to support operational and
strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor’s
Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Law, or related field.
•Minimum
3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a unionized or
industrial environment.
•Sound
knowledge of labour legislation.
•Experience
handling employee relations and disciplinary cases will be an advantage.
•Strong
interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability
to manage sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
•Good
negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
•Strong
organizational and problem-solving abilities.

to work under pressure and meet deadlines
