Job Profile
We are looking for a Functional Business Application Specialist will be responsible for the technical configuration, integration, and ongoing support of business applications. The job incumbent will manage system setups, troubleshoot application issues, handle upgrades and enhancements, and ensure applications are secure, reliable, and performant. The role works closely with functional teams and IT stakeholders to translate technical requirements into effective solutions that support business operations and scalability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide training to fellow team members on project rollouts, latest technologies and assist with their development.
- This role involves day-to-day tasks related to data analytics & improving exhaustiveness and quality of data, integration of multiple systems.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of IT applications that support various business functions, such as ERP systems, CRM, HRIS, financial systems, PowerBI, JetReport and more.
- Ensure that all applications are scalable, reliable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and facilitate seamless integration between different applications.
- Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data.
- Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify Process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
- Create or Enhance PowerBI dashboards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bsc in Computer Science Engineering, or relevant software/computer related fields.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
- Knowledge of CRM tool or/and Power BI constitutes a plus.
- Good analytical skills to bring high level and complex customer issues to resolution.
- Very good verbal, written communication in both English and French.
- A team player and willing to learn.
- Exposure to object-oriented programming (C#, .NET).
- Familiar with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems.
