Job Description
We are seeking a Search Associate to join our
Credit Services Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for
conducting property and corporate searches and ensuring the accuracy and
completeness of all related documentation.
The role involves carrying out mortgage
searches, vetting title deeds, reviewing registered charges, and ensuring there
are no adverse reports on the e‑Registry system, an electronic platform
used to access public records relating to land ownership, property details,
charges, and other legal interests. The incumbent will also be required to
conduct corporate searches on the MNS Portal and verify Powers of
Attorney at the Supreme Court Registry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive search reports for
internal stakeholders
- Ensure reports are completed to a high standard and submitted
within agreed deadlines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and procedures
and report any deviations as required
- Keep internal customers informed of updates or changes to
policies and procedures at the Mortgage Office and Registrar of Companies
- Propose enhancements and process improvements aimed at
reducing turnaround time and improving service levels
- Efficiently manage office data, files, and records
- Ensure timely payment of registration fees at the Mortgage
Office
PREREQUISITES
- Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC)
- A Degree in Banking, Finance, or any other qualification
deemed acceptable by the Bank will be an advantage
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability
to collaborate across teams
