Job Description

The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and handling all incoming calls professionally, ensuring a positive first impression of the company while maintaining efficient communication flow within the organization. S/He provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office. S/He schedules meetings and supports visitors. Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.

Qualifications & Skills:

      Certificate in Secretarial duties or equivalent.

o   Higher School Certification and relevant Experience acceptable

      Proven experience as a receptionist or front desk officer.

      Knowledge of PABX system

      Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

      Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

      Adaptability and Resilience.

      Ethical conduct and reliability.

      Excellent communication (French and English – verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

      Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

      Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.

      Organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

      Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.

      Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.



Working Conditions:

      This position operates in a professional office environment.

      Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers/laptops, phones, photocopiers/printers, etc.

      Must be able to sit for long periods and walk around the office as necessary.

      Job open to Local Mauritian Residents ONLY.


Working Hours:

      Monday to Friday: 08h30 till 17h00

      Saturday: 08h30 till 13h00

      Sunday & Public Holiday: OFF
