POOL/STP/DESALINATION PLANT OPERATORS – JOB DESCRIPTION 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 

Excellent communication skills 

Attention to details 

Proven experience in similar position is a definite advantage. 

Knowledgeable and skilled in electrical/plumbing/building maintenance 

Proficiency in general maintenance procedures and techniques will be a definite advantage 

Language English and French 

 ROLE SUMMARY 

Monitors and controls plant operations and treatment processes in accordance with requirements. 

Perform water analysis and record in respective logbooks. 

Monitor required parameters and record in respective logbooks. 

Dosing of chemicals and make necessary adjustments. 

Check on chemicals stock and place order when required. 

Check on safety signages, dosing tank stickers, logbooks, and request for new when required. 

Follow all safety procedures for dosing/handling of chemicals and any technical interventions. 

Ensure proper housekeeping of plantrooms and work area. 

Provide basic training to a new colleague operator. 

Assist/Perform necessary repairs or making good where applicable. 

Provide daily feedback to client. 

Report to Aquascience Supervisor/Manager for any anomalies. 

Perform other specific duties when requested by Manager/Supervisors. 

Follow company policies and procedures 

Abide to all Health & Safety Procedures at all times 

Aware of the quality policy, quality objectives, customer requirements and accountability to report non conformities for necessary actions to prevent recurrence
