Job Description
Job Summary
The Commercial Assistant supports the commercial and sales function of the
furniture business by coordinating sales activities, assisting with customer
enquiries, and ensuring smooth order processing from quotation to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in preparing
quotations, proposals, and tender documents
- Coordinate with the
Commercial Executive on space planning and furniture layouts
- Liaise with suppliers
and vendors to obtain pricing and product information
- Support the
Commercial Executive in client follow-ups and relationship
management
- Maintain accurate
records of sales activities, contracts, and project timelines
- Participate in client
meetings and site visits as and when required
- Monitor order
processing and ensure timely delivery and installation
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
Job
Requirements
- 1–3 years of
experience in a commercial, sales support, or similar role is an advantage
- Strong organizational
and multitasking skills
- Good communication
and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
- Ability to work
independently and as part of a team
- A curious mindset with a genuine passion for learning new skills, tools, and industry trends
