Job Description

he Lux Collective is hiring for the position of E-DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANT at its Head Office based in Mauritius.

Reporting to the E-Distribution Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Maintain the distribution channels (OTAs, websites, booking platforms).
  • Ensure rates, availability, and contents are accurate and up to date.
  • Set up and monitor promotional codes and online offers.
  • Support rate parity checks and investigate discrepancies.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external distribution partners.
  • Assist in implementing online sales strategies and restrictions.
  • Produce reports, benchmarks, and documentation as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • Tertiary education at Diploma level in Tourism/Hospitality Management or Business Management or a related field from a recognised institution, or equivalent qualifications.

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

  • At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous internship or exposure to hospitality, reservations, or e-commerce is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Show interest in working within a small team and a growing organisation, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to manage tasks effectively and prioritise workload with guidance.
  • Willing to learn basic project coordination and multitasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and online systems.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proactive, dynamic, flexible, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Willingness to work during odd hours on weekdays, weekends, and Public Holidays when required.
  • A clean certificate of character is a must.
