Job Description:

• Credit assessment
• Evaluate new customers before giving credit (financial checks, credit limits)
• Set and review credit limits

• Accounts receivable management
• Monitor customer balances and ageing reports
• Ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time

• Debt collection
• Follow up on overdue payments (calls, emails, reminders)
• Negotiate payment plans where needed

• Risk management
• Identify high-risk customers early
• Recommend stopping credit or placing accounts on hold

• Dispute resolution
• Work with internal teams (sales, operations) to resolve billing issues delaying payment

• Reporting
• Prepare debtor ageing reports
• Track KPIs like DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), collection rate, overdue %

• Process improvement
• Strengthen credit policies and collection procedures
