Job Description

The role of the Trainee - Corporate Banking is to provide exceptional customer service to all Corporate Banking Customers and handle all their queries/ requests or concerns ensuring service levels acceptable to the bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Handle customers’ routine enquiries regarding the Bank’s standard tariff, deposit interest rates and general exchange rate information.

·        Deal with customers’ general account queries, arrange inter account transfers and order statements

·        Co-ordinate set up, amendment and cancellation of regular payments instructions

·        Deal with inward and outward payments (including obtaining necessary customer authorities)

·        Communicate with customer in a proper business language and corporate ethics

·        Obtain and action customer requests for International Payment through Trade Finance Department and/or other relevant centers

 PREREQUISITES

·        Minimum HSC or any other equivalent qualifications

SKILLS:

·        Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills.

·        Clear written and verbal communication.

·        Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

·        Teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

·        Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.

·        Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
