Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
✅ Deliver end-to-end, highly accurate payroll processing for the UK and Channel Islands, ensuring full compliance at all times
✅ Manage employee payroll data across the full employee lifecycle within vendor platforms
✅ Validate, reconcile, and review payroll reports to ensure timely and correct payments
✅ Act as the first point of contact and subject matter expert for employee payroll queries
✅ Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate payroll cost reporting
✅ Develop, review, and maintain payroll procedures and SOPs
✅ Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and proactively communicate updates
🔹 What We’re Looking For
🎯 3–5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience
🎯 Strong hands-on knowledge of UK PAYE, HMRC reporting, NICs, and statutory payments
🎯 Sound understanding of Jersey & Guernsey payroll regulations and social security
🎯 Experience with payroll systems (Staffology or similar a plus)
🎯 Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payroll cycles
🎯 Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
🔹 Nice to Have
✨ Experience in a multi-jurisdictional or EU payroll environment
✨ Background in financial services or a regulated industry
✨ Confidence interpreting and applying legislative changes independently
