Job Description

 Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Accounts Payable Operations - Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, verification, and payment runs execution on time
  •   Supplier Management - Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolve invoices or payment discrepancies. Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled and properly maintained 
  •   Controls & Compliance - Implement and maintain robust internal controls within the accounts payable process 
  •   Financial Reporting - Ensure timely month-end closing procedures. Prepare management accounts, accounts payable-related reports, ageing analysis and accruals 
  •   Cash Flow & Treasury Support - Support cash flow management by providing accurate payment forecasts. Coordinate with treasury to optimize payment scheduling and liquidity
  •   Audit & Risk Management - Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions where necessary 
  •   Process Improvement & Systems - Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy 
 Required Qualifications & Experience: 
  •   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA 
  •   Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in accounts payable or finance operations, with experience in leading a team 
 Required Skills and Aptitudes:
  •   Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial controls
  •   Good understanding of tax and regulatory requirements
  •   Proficiency in ERP systems 
  •   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  •   Excellent team management abilities 
  •   High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  •   Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
