Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and inspect the machine hopper with plastic materials before operation.
• Start, operate, attend to, and monitor machines that knead and blend compounds to produce plastic products.
• Trim excess flashing from finished products where applicable.
• Separate and dispose of rejected parts and flash materials for recycling.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and procedures.
• Accurately weigh, record, and log production output.
• Assemble components or parts of products, as required.
• Report any equipment or product defects to the foreman immediately.
• Stack finished products into boxes or bags and transfer them using trolleys for further processing.
• Follow and maintain strict health and safety practices at all times.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Be available and flexible to work night shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum Form IV education or higher.
• Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or plastics environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and safety guidelines.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Willingness to work on day & night shifts.
