Safety & Health Officer

Our client, a reputable player in the hospitality industry, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety & Health Officer to join their team. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Occupational Safety & Health regulations and internal safety policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across all departments.
  • Identify hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
  • Lead and coordinate health & safety training sessions and awareness campaigns for staff.
  • Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with management and operational teams to embed a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor emergency preparedness and coordinate drills and response procedures.

Profile

  • Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality sector.
  • Good knowledge of local OSH legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams.
  • Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office tools.
