Job Title: Accounts Officer
Location: Port Louis
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Officer to join their team based in Port Louis. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders when required
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:

• ACCA Level 1–2, Degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent qualification
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dynamic, proactive, and willing to learn
