Job Description

The main responsibilities are listed below and not limited to : 
  • Lead MICE Sales Strategy – Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to attract high-value corporate events, conferences, and incentive groups from both local and international markets.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships – Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and DMC partners to secure repeat and referral business.
  • Design Bespoke Experiences – Collaborate with our events, F&B, and concierge teams to create tailor-made itineraries, from luxury catamaran cruises to private cultural tours.
  • Market Intelligence – Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities in the MICE and luxury travel sectors to keep our offerings ahead of the curve.
  • Revenue Optimization – Negotiate contracts, packages, and pricing structures that maximize profitability while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Event Oversight – Ensure seamless execution of events by liaising with operations teams, guaranteeing that every detail reflects our five-star standards.
  • Brand Representation – Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums, both locally and internationally.
Profile required for this position: 
  • Proven Track Record – Minimum 5 years in business development or sales within luxury hospitality, MICE, or DMC sectors.
  • Market Expertise – Strong understanding of the Mauritian tourism landscape, corporate travel trends, and high-end client expectations.
  • Relationship Builder – Exceptional networking skills with the ability to engage C-level executives, event planners, and travel industry leaders.
  • Creative Vision – Ability to conceptualize and sell unique, high-value experiences that differentiate our brand.
  • Negotiation Mastery – Skilled in closing complex deals while maintaining win-win partnerships.
  • Plurilingual is a must – Fluency in English , French and any third language; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in CRM systems, virtual event platforms, and digital sales tools.
