Job Description
Knowledge/Skills:
- Provide leadership to area of responsibility.
- Ensures all food wis prepared fresh and is of highest quality.
- Strictly adheres to all recipes, methods and instructions from superior.
- Continually trains, coaches and recognizes team members to improve food quality and meet budget expectations while motivating team members.
- Maintains an organized and efficient flow production, with regards to change in forecasts and menus.
- Responsible for mise-en-place, and food service for production area.
- Intereact with guests, providing an entertaining and memorable dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the cooking station.
Experience:
- At least 2 years experience in Japanese or Teppanyaki cooking preferred
- Strong knife skill and grilling techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
