Job Description

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Provide leadership to area of responsibility.
  • Ensures all food wis prepared fresh and is of highest quality. 
  • Strictly adheres to all recipes, methods and instructions from superior.
  • Continually trains, coaches and recognizes team members to improve food quality and meet budget expectations while motivating team members. 
  • Maintains an organized and efficient flow production, with regards to change in forecasts and menus. 
  • Responsible for mise-en-place, and food service for production area.
  • Intereact with guests, providing an entertaining and memorable dining experience. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the cooking station. 
Experience:
  • At least 2 years experience in Japanese or Teppanyaki cooking preferred
  • Strong knife skill and grilling techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
