Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To handle guest luggage on arrival, departure and during stay in an efficient manner.
  • Actively participates in the provision of excellent service to guests.
  • Cordially welcomes guests on their arrivals and opens car doors.
  • Converses with guests on their feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Guides guests towards service outlets as and when requested.
  • Answer telephone calls in Front Office area when requested.
  • Handles customer complaints efficiently through approrpiate interaction.
  • Take part in training and implement accordingly.
  • Keep superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area.
  • Pick up luggage from rooms upon departure and bid farewell to guests.
  • Ensure that luggage are well tagged and delivered in allocated rooms.
  • Ensure that luggage are well identified while placing in departure lounge/car.
  • Collect and deliver messages/parcels to guests within 15 minutes.
  • Ensure cold towel & cocktail service upon guest arrival.
  • Ensure having good knowledge of Geography of the Island.
  • Ensure efficient use of materials to minimise costs.
  • Follow up vouchers from taxi service
  • Inform superior shall be there any damage/breakages of luggage.
  • Collect postcards from letter box and leave at the reception for postage
  • Ensure Proper in/out of cold towels and logged properly

Candidate's Profile:

  • SC
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Self-control
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good organisational skill
