Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures.

  • Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.

  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports.

  • Coordinate Health & Safety training and awareness programs.

  • Maintain safety documentation and records.

  • Liaise with external authorities (Ministry of Labour/OSHA Unit, Fire Services, etc.).

  • Assist with emergency response and fire safety drills.

Requirements:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Good knowledge of Mauritian Health & Safety legislation.

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
