Job Description

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Notify relevant employees when visitors arrive.
  • Ensure guests' experiences at the hotel, from check-in to departure, are of the highest standard.
  • Process all tasks related to the Front Office: Receptionist, Concierge, Cashier, and Telephone Operator, in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Answer visitors’ questions, calls and emails and provide them with relevant information.
  • Report to management and perform other administrative duties as required.
  • Answer telephone calls as well as screen and forward them.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings and events.
  • Handle basic inquiries and sort mail.
  • Copy, scan and file documents.
  • Monitor office supplies and order replacements as needed.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and observe professional etiquette.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of all daily sales transactions to detect any loss of revenue and take corrective action to maximize profitability.
  • Audit all daily revenue reports to ensure all income pertaining to units has been accounted for correctly.

Profile:

  • Age: 25–35 years
  • Education: HSC, MITD or equivalent qualification
  • Experience: 1–2 years in a similar role; Industrial placements in hotels will be an advantage.

  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Pleasant, smiling, courteous, and trustworthy
  • Proficient communication skills in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and strong team spirit even under pressure
  • Willingness to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays, on a roster basis
  • Working Hours: Night Shift – 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (6 nights per week)
