Job Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Officer to manage and process employee payroll accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Role and Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain and update employee payroll records (new recruits, terminations, monthly variables)
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory deductions
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare payroll reports for management review
• Handle employee queries related to payroll, payslips, and deductions
• Coordinate with every department for payroll-related matters
• Support payroll audits and internal controls
• Manage leave, overtime, and other payroll inputs

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude

• Knowledge of payroll systems (Sicorax HRMS)
• Strong understanding of statuory requirements and tax regulations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
