Job Description
The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of SPA MANAGER based at SALT of palmar, Mauritius.
The successful incumbent will be responsible to:
- Oversee the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the Spa at the resort.
- Actively participate in budgetary preparations and cost control throughout the operational departments whilst maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Provide assistance and guidance to our Guests and ensure that high standard of service is maintained by the Spa Therapists at all times.
- Actively participate in budget preparation for the Spa and ensure that the set financial targets for the department are met.
- Maximise sales opportunities and revenues through Spa visits and consultations.
- Advise Guests on the various packages and treatments offered .
- Develop knowledge and competencies of subordinates by providing on-the-job training and coaching.
- Monitor and ensure that all treatment rooms are cleaned and properly maintained in accordance with the hygiene, health and safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary education at Degree Level in Leisure Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications. Postgraduate qualifications in Management or related fields would be a definite advantage.
- Recognised qualifications in Spa/ Beauty Therapy: CIBTAC or CIDESCO.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Spa Management preferably in a 5 star resort.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar management position, preferably with luxury international brands.
- At least 5 years of working experience in training Spa Team Members.
- Knowledge and experience with integrated wellness approaches.

- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office package.
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
