Job Description
The Main responsibilities are as follows:
Plant Operations & Maintenance:
- Operate plant machinery efficiently to optimize production output.
- Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Follow detailed work instructions for all tasks to ensure consistency and quality.
- Perform regular rounds to check tank readings, yard safety, and fill in the Operators’ log book.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Accurately and legibly fill in production records and logs.
- Report systematically any site issues, equipment malfunctions, and near misses to the supervisor.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Maintenance and Housekeeping:
- Assist the maintenance team with repair works on the plant.
- Perform regular cleaning of the plant and surrounding areas to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain and repaint plant facilities when not in operation to ensure proper upkeep.
Adherence to Safety Protocols:
- Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during all operations.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
The job holder should ideally possess:
- Ability to work Night Shifts
- Prior Experience as an Operator.
- Valid Driving License or means of transport to travel to site
- Attention to details for accurate machine readings.
- Computer Literate
