Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and portion standards.

  • Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.

  • Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations.

  • Assist in menu planning, portion control, and minimizing food waste.

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service operations.

  • Report any equipment or maintenance issues promptly.

  • Maintain a clean uniform and professional behavior at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety standards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.

  • Good time management and multitasking skills.

  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items if required.

  • Team player with good communication and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Culinary training or relevant certification is a plus.
