Job Description

Key Objectives of the Role

  • Build engaged online communities for each brand
  • Grow brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty across social platforms
  • Maintain consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging
  • Support commercial goals through content, campaigns, and paid media
  • Develop data-driven thinking and expand into performance marketing

Core Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

You will manage and animate multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn) across a portfolio of brands, and be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a clear, up-to-date content calendar per brand
  • Conceptualizing, creating, and publishing original content: including Reels, TikToks, product visuals, lifestyle content, and UGC-style formats
  • Coordinating or executing basic photo and video shoots using mobile-first tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express)
  • Writing captions aligned with brand voice and industry trends
  • Repurposing and adapting content across platforms while maintaining consistency
  • Continuously testing new formats and creative angles to improve performance
  • Adapting tone and content style for each platform while respecting brand guidelines

2. Community Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions promptly and on-brand
  • Foster authentic conversations and relationships with followers
  • Moderate discussions and handle sensitive interactions professionally
  • Escalate customer service or reputational issues as needed

3. Campaigns & Brand Support

  • Execute social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and seasonal moments
  • Collaborate with business units and sales teams to ensure alignment
  • Support influencer collaborations through content posting, engagement monitoring, and reporting
  • Ensure consistency of brand image across all touchpoints

 

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track key social KPIs: reach, engagement, growth, clicks, and conversions
  • Produce monthly performance reports per brand
  • Identify top-performing formats and make data-informed recommendations
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry best practices
  • Contribute to the annual digital marketing strategy and social media plan

 

5. Email Marketing (from mid-year)

  • Assist in creating and scheduling email campaigns (newsletters, promotions, launches)
  • Help segment mailing lists based on customer behaviour or brand
  • Write or adapt email copy aligned with social campaigns
  • Track email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions) and suggest optimisations

 

6. Paid Media: Google Ads (gradual, under supervision)

  • Develop a working understanding of Google Ads structure: Search, Display, and remarketing
  • Assist in setting up simple campaigns including keywords, copy, and extensions
  • Monitor campaign performance and learn basic optimisation techniques
  • Align paid campaigns with social and email initiatives
  • Participate in reporting and budget tracking

 

Skills and Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing
  • Bachelor's in marketing, communications, media, or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and TikTok
  • Sound knowledge of influencer marketing.
  • Good copywriting skills tailored to social platforms
  • Good knowledge of paid social media advertising across all social platforms
  • Basic creative skills in Canva, Adobe, or Affinity Suuite
  • Understanding of social KPIs, content calendars, campaign support, and ads budgeting
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow brand tone of voice
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting templates
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
