KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.

• Contribute to or implement a test automation framework (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Manual Testers to understand requirements and translate them into robust automated tests.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Execute automated regression suites and analyse results, ensuring quick feedback to the team.

• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolution.

• Support performance, smoke and sanity testing where relevant.

• Contribute to test documentation: test plans, test cases, automation guidelines and best practices.

• Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes, tools, and coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2 - 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.

• Hands-on experience with at least one major automation tool or framework, such as: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / WebdriverIO (or similar).

• Good understanding of software testing concepts: test design techniques, regression testing, defect lifecycle, etc.

• Experience scripting in at least one language: C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Nice-to-Have

• ISTQB Foundation or other testing certification.

• Experience with performance testing (e.g. JMeter) is a plus.

• Experience in business applications or enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, etc.) would be an advantage.

• Interest in AI-assisted testing and using AI tools to improve test design and efficiency.
