Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experience in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and accurate record keeping.
  • Perform Night Audit duties when required.
  • Ensure all registration cards and check-in documentation are completed accurately.
  • Process pre-authorizations and payment transactions in line with hotel procedures.
  • Verify, sort, and file guest bills and supporting documentation from hotel outlets.
  • Ensure departure bills are prepared accurately and billing instructions are followed.
  • Clear and archive guest documentation upon departure.
  • Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with established standards.
  • Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to guests.
  • Ensure all special requests and guest preferences are actioned and followed up accordingly.
  • Assist guests with foreign exchange transactions while adhering to hotel policies and local regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Reservations, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and contribute to the smooth operation of the Front Office.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Candidate Profile
  • SC/HSC or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Front Office, Reception, or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Good knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), preferably Opera.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Well-groomed, organised, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Courteous, tactful, and able to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duties when required.
