Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the staff canteen kitchen and food preparation.

  • Prepares different dishes for the Staff.

  • Checks on daily orders and assists in staff menu planning.

  • Reports directly to Culinary Director.

  • Checks on the quality of all food items/ingredients before preparation

  • Actively supports hygiene and HACCP programs.

  • Ensures maintenance of hotel/hygiene standards.

  • Maintains all recipes.

  • Monitor temperature and refilling of food at buffet in the staff canteen.

  • Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by your Supervisor or Manager.

  • Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas; Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required.

    Minimum of 2 years in a similar position in a high volume, internationally recognized hotel chain or food and beverage establishment.
