RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance checks, including oil, filter, and belt changes, according to schedules.
• Remove and replace worn, faulty, or non-functioning parts.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct road tests with the Foreman when necessary to verify customers’ concerns.
• Interpret and explain technical specifications of motor vehicles, parts, and components.
• Perform accurate fault diagnosis with minimal supervision.
• Examine vehicle systems to identify issues and recommend repairs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a mechanic.
• NC3 in Automotive Mechanics or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Willingness to work flexible/extended hours (overtime as required).
