ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Chue Wing & Company Limited （ABC Foods） is a leader in FMCG distribution in Mauritius and a major Division of the ABC Group of Companies.
Job Description:
ABC Foods is looking for a dynamic and reliable Accounts Officer to join our Finance team and shall report to the Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist the Accountant in the day-to-day operations and the financial transactions of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Key Duties:
- Process supplier invoices and perform supplier statement reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for supplier payments.
- Prepare bank payment instructions, including foreign exchange transactions, and maintain the foreign exchange tracker.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable balances and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist in cash flow management to ensure timely payments
- Prepare and update product costing schedules and perform cost analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Record financial transactions accurately and perform bank reconciliations.
- Conduct periodic fixed asset and inventory counts and maintain related records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, as well as internal and external audits.

Key qualification:
- Minimum ACCA Level 2 or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in related field, preferably in the FMCG sector or a fast-growing environment
