Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Procurement activities: Assist in the procurement activities for various functions and ensure timely procurement based on priorities for both Emtel and its other subsidiaries.
- RFP Process: Issuance/Monitoring of timeline/Extension as and when required/Communication with vendors/ Receipt of proposals/Evaluation of proposals.
- Supplier Management: Carry out on a regular basis supplier performance evaluation for strategic and preferred suppliers. Monitor compliance with terms and conditions.
- Open Purchase Orders Review: Review open Purchase Orders on a regular basis and take actions on long outstanding POs.
- Logistics and Customs clearance: Assist the team as needed for prompt customs clearance and logistics.
- Warehouse Management: As needed, support the team for arising matters.
- Go to Market time: Improve and optimize service delivery internally through process efficiencies for procurement activities.
- Ensure efficient and fast service to internal customers: Understand and attend to needs of internal customers and source adequate supplies.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Minimum diploma holder in Finance or Supply Chain Management & Logistics
- One year work experience in related field will be an advantage
- Be a team player with positive attitude
- Well versed with Microsoft Excel/Word
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
