Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, organised and highly attentive individual to join our team as an Operations Planning & Monitoring Officer.
YOUR ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily field operations and ensuring that technicians’ movements are aligned with approved work schedules and planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily technician and vehicle movements through the company’s GPS tracking system.
- Compare actual movements against the daily departmental planning and scheduled interventions.
- Identify and report any unauthorised movements, unexplained stops, deviations or excessive idle time.
- Verify operational changes or deviations with the relevant supervisors/departments.
- Follow up on discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare clear daily monitoring and exception reports for Management.
- Highlight recurring deviations, unusual movement patterns and operational inefficiencies.
- Assist Management in improving adherence to planning and efficient use of company vehicles and working time.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, accuracy and impartiality when handling monitoring information.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- HSC or Diploma in Administration, Operations, Logistics, Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in operations, fleet monitoring, logistics, dispatch or coordination would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
- Comfortable working with GPS systems and digital monitoring tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational and follow-up abilities.
- Able to identify inconsistencies and communicate them clearly.
- Assertive, responsible and disciplined.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
