Ideco Ltd is looking for a reliable, organised and hardworking Store Attendant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the store, including receiving, storing, handling and issuing materials and products while maintaining accurate stock records and a clean and organised working environment.

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday: 07h30 – 17h00

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase documents.
• Inspect products/materials for quantity, condition and visible damages.
• Properly store and organise materials according to product/category.
• Issue materials and products to Production, Installation and other departments as authorised.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods safely.
• Maintain accurate stock movements and assist with stock counts.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages or excess stock to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper labelling and identification of products.
• Maintain cleanliness, order and safety within the store.
• Assist with periodic stock takes and investigations of stock variances.
• Follow company procedures relating to stock control, safety and handling of materials.
• Support other store and operational duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a store, warehouse or stock-related position would be an advantage.
• Minimum SC / equivalent qualification.
• Good physical condition and ability to handle/lift materials when required.
• Basic numeracy and ability to read delivery notes, stock documents and product information.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Basic computer knowledge would be an advantage.
