Job Description
We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimising our IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and business continuity.
Responsibility
- Manage and support Windows and Linux server environments
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
- Administer cloud platforms including AWS and Azure
- Implement security controls, patches, and vulnerability management.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Support virtualisation platforms and infrastructure upgrades.
- Automate processes through scripting and system optimisation.
- Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge with team members.
Profile
- Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in system administration and infrastructure support.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, AWS, Azure, VMware, and Veeam.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
