Job Profile

We are looking for a Driver to ensure the safe and timely delivery of automotive parts and products.

Role & Responsibilities

• Transport automotive parts, accessories, and other goods to customers and company locations.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of products according to schedules.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
• Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer acknowledgements.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the assigned vehicle.
• Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Address any delivery-related issues promptly and work towards resolution in collaboration with the coordinators team.
• Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualification & Experience

• Holder of a School Certificate.
• Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Ability to lift heavy materials.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime when necessary.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for ensuring deliveries are completed correctly against respective documents and for completing delivery records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and customer focused.
