Job Description
People & Culture Trainee (1-Year Contract)
Job Purpose
The People & Culture Trainee will support the People & Culture team in delivering efficient and effective People & Culture services across the resort. The incumbent will gain hands-on exposure to all major People & Culture functions, including recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and welfare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant records, preparing recruitment documentation, and participating in career fairs and employer branding initiatives.
- Coordinate the onboarding and orientation of new Team Members by preparing welcome packs, completing joining formalities, and ensuring all required documentation is accurately processed.
- Provide administrative support by drafting letters, agreements, and correspondence, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with verification of attendance, leave, claims and responding to Team Member payroll-related queries.
- Support Team Member engagement, welfare, and recognition initiatives, including organizing events, celebrations, and coordinating transportation, and other welfare programmes where applicable.
General
- Maintain effective communication with Team Members and provide day-to-day support on People & Culture matters in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the People & Culture Management Team.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management.
Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous internship or exposure in HR or hospitality would be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proactive, energetic, and willing to learn.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
