Your Mission

As Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, supporting sales strategy execution, mentoring team members and helping position LCI as the leading cybersecurity and technology solutions provider in Mauritius.

You will combine strong commercial leadership with hands-on business development to identify opportunities, build strategic customer relationships and support the achievement of departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Development

·                  Support the Corporate Sales Manager in executing sales strategies and business plans.

  • Coach, mentor and guide sales executives and account managers.
  • Assist in driving team performance and achievement of sales targets.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding and development of sales talent.

Strategic Business Development

·                  Develop and manage strategic customer accounts.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers including CIOs, CISOs, CEOs and Directors.
  • Expand LCI's footprint within existing customers and new markets.
  • Drive sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

Cybersecurity & Solution Selling

·                  Position cybersecurity, identity security, cloud and infrastructure solutions aligned to customer business requirements.

  • Lead customer engagements, workshops and executive presentations.
  • Develop solution-led sales approaches that deliver measurable business value.
  • Work closely with presales and technical teams to design customer solutions.

Tender & Opportunity Management

·                  Oversee and support responses to RFPs, RFQs and tenders.

  • Ensure proposals meet customer requirements and company quality standards.
  • Review commercial proposals and assist in contract negotiations.
  • Support the successful closure of large and strategic opportunities.

Forecasting & Operational Excellence

·                  Review pipeline health and sales forecasts.

  • Ensure CRM discipline and accurate opportunity management.
  • Monitor sales performance indicators and business metrics.
  • Assist with management reporting and business reviews.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

·                  Minimum 10 years of successful experience in B2B technology sales.

  • Minimum 3 years in a team leadership, sales coaching or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in solution selling and enterprise account management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud, networking, infrastructure or managed services solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing strategic accounts.

Education

·                  Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Marketing or related discipline.

Preferred

·                  Experience managing major enterprise, financial services, government or telecom accounts.

  • Experience leading complex sales cycles and multi-million-rupee opportunities.
  • Relevant technology, sales or leadership certifications.
