The Electrician is responsible for carrying out electrical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, testing for electro- mechanical equipment

Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on Electro-mechanical equipment such as Pumps, Air blowers & Mixer etc..
• Inspect and maintain electrical control panels
• Check contactors, overload relays, circuit breakers, fuses and control components.
• Check motor voltage, current, phase balance and operating conditions.
• Inspect motor starters, VFDs, soft starters and control circuits.
• Test level switches, float switches, alarms and automatic control systems.
• Check electrical equipment for overheating, loose connections and abnormal operation.
• Identify potential electrical faults before equipment failure occurs.
• Familiar with waste treatment plant, swimming pool and RO equipment.

2. Equipment Installation

• Install electrical equipment for pumps, air blowers, mixers and other wastewater treatment equipment.
• Connect motors, pumps and other electrical equipment.
• Install and connect control panels and motor control systems.
• Install level sensors, float switches and other field instruments.
• Assist with installation and connection of dosing systems and treatment equipment.
