Job Description

The Sales Support Officer will work closely with the Relationship Manager - Leasing to develop the existing customer base and increase the leasing portfolio of the bank, while providing customers with services of the highest standard.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Handle routine enquiries from customers regarding the bank’s products and services;
  • Attend to customers’ queries and provide them with appropriate business solutions that best suit their requirements;
  • Accompany customers throughout their leasing application by providing timely and accurate information regarding their request;
  • Using various channels and communicate with customers in a proper business language and corporate ethics;
  • Develop and maintain relationship with customers and suppliers;
  • Act as the principal point of contact in the absence of the Relationship Manager;
  • Handle complaints and provide remedial action to avoid their reoccurrence in accordance with established procedures;
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence to deliver ever-improving performance standards to Leasing customers;
  • Identify improvements to processes and procedures that will improve the delivery of excellent operational service and effectiveness and champion these improvements within agreed guidelines;
  • Conducts customer reviews in line with Bank standards and implement any action as prescribed by Compliance Risk and Audit.
  • Ensure completeness of information and documentation prior to submission of credit applications to relevant department/ unit;
  • Follow up with support departments for credit assessment and disbursement of lease facilities;
  • Take ownership of complaints cases and see through their remediation;
  • Providing administrative support to achieve departmental objectives.

PREREQUISITES:


  • HSC or Degree in Banking and Finance from a recognized institution OR an alternative qualification from a recognized institution in a field of study relevant to the scope of work, acceptable to the Bank;
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a customer-facing environment;
