Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide professional massage, body treatments, manicure and pedicure services in accordance with spa protocols and industry standards.
  • Be punctual for all appointments and complete treatments within the allocated time.
  • Maintain a high standard of guest care by understanding guests’ needs and providing appropriate wellness advice.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all spa treatments, services, products and retail offerings.
  • Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation and sterilisation practices are consistently maintained in accordance with spa procedures.
  • Properly prepare, clean, sanitise and restock treatment rooms before and after each service.
  • Use spa products and equipment responsibly and efficiently, in line with cost-control requirements.
  • Maintain and properly care for all spa equipment and report any defects or issues promptly.
  • Promote spa treatments, services, retail products, packages, promotions and special offers to guests.
  • Respond promptly, professionally and appropriately to all guest requests and enquiries.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and contribute to an exceptional overall spa experience.
  • Attend and actively participate in spa training sessions, staff meetings and other development activities.
  • Assist with other areas of spa operations as required by management.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by Spa Manager in line with the position.

Desired Profile

  • School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar position within a spa, wellness centre, hotel or beauty environment.
  • Certification or training in massage, manicure and pedicure; additional beauty or wellness qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Friendly, warm, outgoing and enthusiastic personality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of spa treatments, beauty products and wellness practices.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional while handling guest requests and busy periods.
