The successful incumbent will be responsible to :                                                                                                     

1) Monitor and supervise the day-to-day housekeeping operations.                                                     

2) Assist the Head Housekeeper to oversee the efficient application and professional execution of all the LUX* Resorts & Hotels Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to the Housekeeping department.                                                                    

3) Maintain and  supervise an efficient cleaning and servicing operations to rooms and service areas as allocated.                                                                                                

4) Systematically check all rooms (departures, stays, ready vacant rooms) to ensure they have been cleaned and serviced to LUX* Resorts & Hotels standards.                                                                                                                                                           

5) Supervise  the work of the Valet and Maids, providing assistance and support as per the resort's standards.                                                                                                                    

6) Ensure all departmental practices and procedures are followed and implemented.                                                                                                                                                            

7) Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times. 

QUALIFICATIONS

1) At least a School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
2) National Certificate Level 4 in Housekeeping operations or equivalent qualifications.

EXPERIENCES

1) A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the Housekeeping Department preferably in a 5 star resort.

2) Previous experience  as Housekeeping Supervisor is essential.

8) High responsible and reliable.                                                         

9) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.                                                  10) Willingness to work  during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.                                                                                      11) A clean certificate of character is a must.
