Security Guard

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the selected candidate will have the responsibility to ensure the security of the building, its occupants and contents.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain a constant watch over the building entrances to assist people and prevent problems, as necessary.
• Prevent unauthorized visitors from accessing the lifts and staircases outside visiting hours.
• Provide assistance to patients requiring wheelchairs at the entrance.
• Keep a close watch on the cashiers’ and secretaries’ counters on the ground floor, where money is handled and may attract potential robbers.
• Provide assistance to nursing staff when requested by authorized personnel.
• Conduct daily checks to ensure the proper operation of the lifts, security grilles, night lights, and door locks.
• Record any problem or unusual event in the Occurrence Book, providing precise details such as the time of occurrence and the name(s) of the person(s) involved, and report the matter to the appropriate personnel.

What are we looking for ?

• School Certificate.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
